Wireless Terminals

Why go wireless? Because you don't have, can't have, or don't want to spend the money to have, a phone line.

Wireless terminals allow you to process a transaction where ever you are as long as there is reception, much like any cell phone. In addition, because you are able to do the transaction in real time and get a reading of the magnetic strip on the back of the credit card, you can qualify for the lower "swipe" rate.

Another advantage is that you will know then and there if the customers card is approved or not. This way you won't provide a product or service and then take a credit card payment that later on turns out to be declined.

The wireless units are all battery powered. Some have a printer built in and some hook up to a printer via a cable or infra-red link. They can also be plugged into a cigarette lighter vehicle outlet.

The disadvantages or mostly in relation to cost. The equipment itself is usually more expensive, although we have units available under our FREE equipment program, which many merchants will qualify for. There is a monthly wireless cost, like a cell phone, usually between $15-$20 and the transaction fee may be 5-10 cents higher. If you are remote areas you may have trouble with reception.

Trade show, craft show, contractor, limo, delivery, and many more business types commonly use a wireless option. Call us to discuss what option is best for you 1-888-737-8433.
