In our experience, the terminals shown below represent well over 90% of the terminals in use by small business. The manufacturers represented are Hypercom, Nurit-Lipman, Linkpoint, Way, Comstar, Ingenico, and Verifone. Verifone Omni 3740 - VeriFone’s Omni 3700 family of payment devices gives great power and performance. Has a user-friendly interface, large display, quiet printing , and an integrated PINpad in a compact design. Part of "FREE Terminal" program.

Verifone Omni 3200SE - This is a very reliable unit that does everything that most merchants would want. It has a small footprint, and easy drop in paper loading. Not the most recent generation, but a perfectly good terminal for normal uses.

Verifone Tranz 460 - This is an older terminal, and usually the ones available are refurbished. However, they work fine. It prints two receipts at once, but is still not as fast as thermal printers. Reliable and an inexpensive terminal, printer, combination unit.

Verifone Tranz 330 - This is an older terminal, but can work just fine if the processor supports it. Of course we have processors that do. It has no printer, but can be hooked up to one or used with a manual imprinter..

Verifone Printer 250 - This is a printer that can be hooked up to a terminal like a Tranz 330 or a Linkpoint 3000. It is very reliable. It is a friction printer, printing two receipts at once.Uses larger paper and very easy to read. It uses a ribbon.

Verifone Printer 900 - This is a printer that can be connected to terminals like a Tranz 330 or a Linkpoint 3000. It is an impact printer, printing two receipts at once.Uses larger paper and very easy to read. It uses a ribbon. Faster, big brother of Tranz 330.

Hypercom T-7P - This terminal/printer combo comes in thermal or impact for printing. A reliable, but older terminal. The newer version is the T-7 Plus, but this version is still fine. Available in refurbished units.

Hypercom T-7Plus - This terminal/printer combo has a thermal printer. Drop in paper loading. Plenty of memory and a comfortable keyboard layout with a small footprint. Very popular.

Nurit 2085 - This terminal/printer combo has a thermal printer. This model has been around for a while, and has proven to be extremely reliable. It is also popular. Can do multiple merchants.

Nurit 8320 - This terminal/printer combo has a thermal printer. This is a new, state of the art terminal that can handle multiple applications and multiple merchants. Part of "FREE Terminal" program.

Linkpoint 3000 - This terminal does not have a printer, but can be hooked up to one, such as a Printer 250 or 900. Or you could just use it with a manual imprinter. This is a very reliable terminal and has a very user friendly keypad. Economical as well.

Linkpoint AIO - AIO stands for "all in one" and it has the same user friendly keypad as the Linkpoint 3000. Comes with a thermal printer and drop in loading. Works with certain networks, so ask first.

PINpad - This is just an example PINpad. PINpads are used to enter the PIN number when doing a debit transaction. Some terminals have PINpads built in to them but a PINpad like this can still be plugged in using the connecting cable.

Nurit 8000 - This is a wireless terminal with a built in printer. This is a very popular model. Needs no phone line or it can be plugged in to a phone line. Part of "FREE Terminal" program. Small footprint and very user friendly. See the GPRS coverage area.

Way System - This is a wireless terminal. It doesn't have a built in terminal, but you can use it with a printer. It connects to the printer via infra-red. This is a very small terminal and has excellent coverage. See the GPRS coverage area.

Way System Printer - This is a small printer that goes with the terminal. It uses thermal paper and works like a regular credit card receipt. . It connects to the terminal via infra-red.

Comstar - This is a wireless terminal. It doesn't have a built in printer, but can connect to a printer via cable. This is a very small terminal and has excellent coverage. See the GPRS coverage area. Part of "FREE Terminal" program.

Magtek Mini-Micr - The check reader is used to input the check information into the terminal for various verification and guarantee systems. Easy to use. Connects via cable.

Ingenico 2500 Check reader - The check reader is used to input the check information into the terminal for various verification and guarantee systems. Easy to use. Connects via cable. It has a small footprint. Part of a "FREE Terminal" program.

Verifone CR 1000i - This is a check imager. It not only gets the MICR information on the check, but the image of the whole check as well. Used with check guarantee systems. Part of a "FREE Terminal" program.

Manual Imprinter - This is used as a receipt device. It is completely manual and so does require power or to be hooked to anything. Excellent for businesses on the go or just to have a back-up should the printer go down. Usually run between $29-$39 dollars to buy.
